- Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business users to understand their PLM needs, gather functional requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for Windchill implementation.
- Solution Design:
Architect the overall Windchill system, including data models, workflows, user interfaces, integrations with other systems (ERP, CAD, QMS, CRM), and considering future scalability and growth.
- Technical Implementation:
Support the technical implementation of the Windchill solution, configuring the platform, customizing workflows, and managing data migration.
- Integration Management:
Oversee integrations between Windchill and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and smooth data flow across platforms.
- Change Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage change associated with the new PLM system, providing training and support to end users.
Required Skills and Experience:- Deep Expertise in PTC Windchill:
Proven experience with Windchill functionalities like CAD integration, BOM management, document control, Engineering Change Management (ECM), and product structure management.
- PLM Concepts:
Strong understanding of PLM methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, knowledge of web technologies, and experience with data migration strategies.
- Business Acumen:
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
