The role

We are seeking a motivated Planning Engineer to join our team for a key hydropower project based in Peshawar. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and management, contributing to the successful execution of a high-impact infrastructure initiative.

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using advanced planning tools.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of project timelines with execution plans.
• Analyze project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on schedule performance for stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in all planning and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc in Civil Engineering)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or hydropower projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
