Job Description:


Our Client is seeking a talented Backend Engineer (Mid-Level) with expertise in Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript to join their development team. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, high-performance applications and a solid understanding of backend development best practices.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Laravel and PHP.
  • Design and manage database structures with MySQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integrations.


  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.


  • Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and data.


  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.


  • Work with RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and web services.

  • Maintain version control using Git and participate in code reviews.


Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in backend development with Laravel and PHP.


  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, including writing efficient queries and database optimization.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frontend-backend interactions.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.


  • Understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.


  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms.


  • Experience with Git, deployment processes, and server management.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies.


  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).


  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.


  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Experience: 2+ years


Location: Karachi, Pakistan 


Working Days/ Hours: Monday to Friday ( 11am to 8pm )
