Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of the company’s payroll.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before processing.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee changes and tax withholdings.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure payroll complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including FLSA, tax codes, and wage laws.
  • Prepare and file tax forms (e.g., W-2s, W-3s, 941s, and 1099s) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date with current regulations.
Systems Management:
  • Oversee the payroll system and related software, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT or external vendors to resolve technical payroll issues.
  • Recommend and implement system upgrades or changes to improve efficiency.
Employee Support:
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax forms.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Audit and Reconciliation:
  • Conduct internal audits of payroll to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and work closely with the finance team on accounting entries.

Requirements
  • 4-7 years of experience required in US Payroll.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing payroll shared services in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, policies, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Shift Timings: 6 PM - 3AM
