D·engage, a leading MarTech SaaS company founded by industry veterans, is poised for rapid expansion with a goal of reaching $200 million in revenue within the next 24 months. We are looking for an exceptional Director of Sales based in Pakistan, to lead our sales initiatives across the country. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of extensive experience in the SaaS industry with 5 years of team managing / leadership - particularly in digital marketing or related fields, and possess strong leadership qualities.
As the Director of Sales, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to our sales team, driving growth and achieving ambitious targets. You will oversee the entire sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and outreach, ensuring effective collaboration with the Technical Support Advisors or Account Executives and Pre-Sales teams. Your role will involve setting up demos and meetings, tracking sales performance, and reporting on progress.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team focused on generating and qualifying leads for our SaaS digital marketing platform.
Drive top-of-funnel activities by researching and identifying potential customers.
Oversee outreach efforts through various channels to schedule and coordinate demos and meetings.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead-generation strategies and align with business objectives.
Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, including lead generation and conversion metrics.
Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a strategic advantage.
Total of 10 -12 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the SaaS industry with 5 years of Team leadership / Managerial role with a successful track record of leading high-performance sales team.
Extensive experience in digital marketing platforms or related areas such as CPaaS or IT System Integration is essential.
Strong background in Ad-tech/Mar-tech platforms and familiarity with CDP or Marketing Automation solutions is preferred.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
Proven success in managing relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's Degree: In Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field OR an MBA or a relevant master’s degree (Prefered)
