Job Description

The purpose of this role is for developing, customizing, maintaining and support Oracle EBS applications as per requirement of the business.


Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to develop, customize, maintain, and support Oracle EBS applications according to business requirements. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of various modules within the Oracle E-Business Suite, including HR, Financial, and Supply Chain Management, while providing both technical and functional support to enhance the organization's ERP system.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory):
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Oracle EBS applications, with a strong focus on Apps Technical aspects in HR, Financial, or SCM modules. Should have hands-on experience across a minimum of 3 implementation cycles.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SQL package creation, modification of functions and procedures, and understanding of Oracle Apps standards, table structure, architecture, and databases.
- Customization Skills: Ability to create custom interfaces and APIs, develop XML Publisher reports, and customize Oracle forms using personalization features.
- Workflow Management: Proficiency in Oracle Workflow Builder to create or modify workflows.
- OAF Development: Experience in OAF personalization, customizations, and extensions.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical and functional support for AP, AR, GL, PO, Project Billing, Inventory, HRMS, and Payroll modules, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional):
- Additional Tools: Knowledge or experience in Oracle AME (Approval Management Engine), Forms 6i or 10g, Oracle APEX, and ADF.
- Integration Skills: Familiarity with REST web services, SOA Gateway, and third-party tool integration with Oracle Applications.
- Reporting & Analytics: Understanding of BI, Data Warehouse, and ETL processes.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Toad, SQL Navigator, and SQL Plus.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical, technical, time management, and communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 5+ years of relevant working experience in Oracle EBS applications.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules (AP, AR, GL, PO, Project Billing, Inventory, HRMS, Payroll) and proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL programming, interface development, XML Publisher, and OAF.
