Responsibilities:

• Pricing Strategy and Cost Structure Analysis: Assist in pricing strategies and analyze cost structures.
• Shipping Method Assessment : Assess different shipping methods utilized and evaluate why each method is used.
• Job Pricing : Price jobs accurately to maintain cost efficiency.
• Bookkeeping and Financial Record Keeping: Handle bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial records are up to date.
• Job Expensing and Cost Tracking: Expense jobs effectively and track costs for each project. Assist in daily job expensing to maintain financial clarity.
• Collaboration with Operations Teams: Work with operations teams to streamline pricing models.
• Market Trends and Shipping Cost Analysis: Analyze market trends and shipping costs to improve pricing accuracy.
• Vendor and Logistics Partnership: Collaborate with vendors and logistics partners to optimize shipping costs.
• Reporting and Cost-Saving Suggestions: Generate reports on pricing performance and suggest cost-saving measures.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in pricing, logistics, or operations.
• Experience in bookkeeping and job expensing is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or financial management software.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics and cost evaluation preferred.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

A typical day in the Operations Pricing Analyst role involves reviewing and updating pricing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. You will analyze various shipping methods to assess their cost-effectiveness and price new jobs accordingly. Daily, you will track and record expenses for each project, ensuring accurate financial records. You'll communicate regularly with logistics partners to optimize shipping costs and improve pricing accuracy. Additionally, you'll generate financial reports that provide insights into pricing performance, helping to guide future cost-saving decisions and improve operational efficiency.
