Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to supervise the Manufacturing Operations of Ampoule and Eye Drops department so the products are delivered and supplied on time to the patients at the end of supply chain

Education, Experience & Skills

• Pharm- D

  
  

• 1 to 3 years sterile experience

  
  

• QMS / EHS related knowledge.

  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strong compliance in Quality, EHS, Legal and other critical parts of the business related to the area of responsibilities. Drive performance to improve quality and EHS standards in the area responsibility, in accordance with GSK’s strategic objectives and with applicable law. Supervise third party service providers in accordance with GSK requirements. Drive a culture of transparency and total disclosure.

  
  

Production Adherence:

• To make and agree daily/weekly production plan for Ampoules and Eye drops manufacturing.

  
  

• To supervise manufacturing & dispensing operations of Ampoules and Eye drops to achieve the production plan on time

  
  

• Maximum utilization of resources for delivery of quality products and to improve KPIs

  
  

• Labour allocation

  
  

• Update respective performance boards

  
  

GPS:

• Effectively implement GPS in manufacturing area of Ampoule and Eye drops .

  
  

TRAINING:

• Provide training on SOP to employees working in Ampoules and Eye drops area

  
  

• Maintain employees training record.

  
  

QUALITY COMPLIANCE:

• Involve in right first time performance

  
  

• Maintain the department in ‘Inspection Ready’ state all the time Dispensing .

  
  

• Make sure 100% SOPs are In-place In-use in Ampoule & Eye drops manufacturing.

  
  

EHS:

• Ensure the embedding of living safety culture with in the department.

  
  

• Ensure LOTO application in manufacturing and Dispensing area machines.

  
  

• Raise the Area related ZAP.

  
  

DATA INTEGRITY:

• Ensure data integrity compliance and improve DI controls (ALCOA + principles) in Ampoules and Eye drops department.
