Position: Officer, Training and Development
Location: Reko Diq SITE - Baluchistan
Qualification
- Minimum Bachelors preferably in HR
Experience
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
Requirements
- Awareness of industry specific mining standards and familiarity with Mining related legislation and standards.
- Experience in training delivery within the mining, construction or heavy industry sectors.
- Hands-on experience of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training tools, virtual training platforms and simulation tools.
- Ability to assess and document workforce competency.
- Communication and facilitation skills.
- Attention to detail for record keeping and compliance
Responsibilities
- Conduct leadership, technical and general training at site through the facilitation of a tailored mix of training delivery methods e.g. classroom based, simulation or OTJ training.
- Execute training programs as planned and directed by the Lead, Training Development and partnerships, in accordance with the RDMC annual training plan. This will also require coordination with supervisors and department heads to develop and optimize training schedules without negatively impacting operations.
- Ensure training programs comply with local and international mining regulations and maintain accurate training records, certifications and competency assessments through periodic audit.
- Conduct assessments to verify employee competence against the minimum role requirements of their designation. Identify skills gaps and recommend training and development interventions.
- Stakeholder engagement and Partnering:
- Internal: Act as a liaison between employees and management for training related queries.
- Internal: Liaise with RDMC leaders to ensure seamless training operations
- External: Coordinate with external training service providers for the seamless delivery of training programs.
- Provide data and information required to compile all Training and Development reports, including but not limited to
i) attendance and outcomes,
ii) participant feedback,
iii) training effectiveness.
- Operate and coordinate the use of all digital training tools at RDMC.
- Encourage continuous learning and development among the RDMC workforce by recommending development initiatives that would benefit the individual and the organization.
