 Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with over 7 years of hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructures, including advanced Cisco technologies. The role involves designing and implementing new network solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring security for data centers, branch networks, and enterprise environments. The candidate will manage routing and switching protocols, oversee firewall security, and support SDN and cloud technologies. The position is based in Dubai and requires 24/7 operational availability and immediate joining.

 Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory):

- Cisco Technologies: Expert-level knowledge in Cisco Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi, Telephony, Cisco ACI, Nexus switches, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).

- Routing & Switching: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, IPsec tunnels, and static/dynamic routing protocols.

- Firewalls: Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate, and SonicWall for firewall configuration and management, including VPN technologies.

- Data Center Management: Proven experience in managing data center and branch networks, including WAN optimization and backup automation (Solarwinds, Silverpeak).

- SDN & Automation: Expertise in SDN technologies such as Cisco ACI and experience with scripting and automation tools like Ansible, GitHub, and Jenkins.

- Security Management: Hands-on experience implementing and monitoring security policies, IPS, content filtering, and troubleshooting security breaches.

- Cloud & Virtualization: Experience with Azure, Office 365, Dell VX Rail, Hyper-V, and related cloud networking solutions.

 Good to Have Skillsets (Optional):

- Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, FortiGate certifications, and additional SDN/Automation certifications.

- SD-WAN: Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise wireless solutions such as Aruba Wireless Controllers.

- Project Management: Proficiency in project planning, BOQ preparation, and documentation.

- Network Security Products: Knowledge of network security tools such as F5 LTM, ASM, and Checkpoint.

- ITIL & ITSM: Basic understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with ITSM tools like BMC Remedy for incident and problem management.

 Qualifications and Experience:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in network infrastructure management, with specific experience in Cisco environments, and 5+ years in routing and switching.

- Certifications: CCNP certification is mandatory, with additional certifications in Cisco ACI, SDN, and automation technologies being highly desirable.

- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, SDN, cloud, and network diagnostics tools such as Wireshark and Solarwinds.

- Availability: Willingness to work in 24/7 operational environments with a proactive approach to resolving critical issues.
