Job Brief
A .Net developer builds software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework, producing code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET), upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems, and providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications
The incumbent should be a team player and excellent communicator. Goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and other Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers.
• Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure quality and performance across the application lifecycle.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making, ensuring solutions align with long-term business goals.
• Work within Agile teams, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development processes.
• Ensure application security by implementing best practices such as encryption, authentication, and authorization in .NET Core applications.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code and infrastructure for scalability and speed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in .NET Core, cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), and modern software engineering practices.

What You Know

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using .NET Core and the .NET Framework.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for building modern web applications and APIs.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development using .NET Core.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database interactions.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS for deploying and managing .NET Core applications.

Education

• Bachelors/Master’s in software or related field from a reputable institute.
