Job Summary:
A highly motivated and experienced sales leader to develop and execute sales strategies for our cattle/ruminant feed business. The National Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, build strong relationships with customers and distributors, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute national sales strategies, plans, and budgets to achieve business objectives.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
4. Market Analysis and Insights: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
5. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our cattle/ruminant feed products, services, and solutions.
6. Sales Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science
2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in animal nutrition sales, preferably in the cattle/ruminant feed industry.
3. Certifications: Certifications in animal nutrition, sales, or a related field are desirable.
