MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION SOLUTION ARCHITECT

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with organizational objectives
• Conduct in-depth system analysis and gather business and technical requirements from senior stakeholders to ensure Oracle APEX solutions align with business needs and IT architecture strategies
• Develop and oversee Oracle APEX architectures, data models, and workflows for large-scale projects, ensuring efficient integration with other systems, databases, and web services
• Evaluate and recommend Oracle tools and related technologies to enhance IT system performance, scalability, and security
• Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts using Oracle APEX to validate design concepts and feasibility for senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to UI/UX design principles within the Oracle APEX platform, creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces tailored for diverse user groups
• Implement security best practices within the Oracle APEX environment, ensuring data privacy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation specific to Oracle APEX development, including design specifications, implementation guidelines, and operational procedures
• Conduct design reviews to ensure that Oracle APEX-based solutions comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and best practices
• Mentor and guide developers in using Oracle APEX, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBAs, system administrators, System Integrators etc.) to ensure successful Oracle APEX application deployment and integration with other IT systems 
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by managing development timelines and coordinating with relevant teams

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution / equivalent foreign degree holder, preferably in the discipline Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at a senior equivalent position or one position below.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Oracle APEX development, including the creation of applications, data modeling, and web services integration
• Experience with PL/SQL and other Oracle technologies like Oracle Database, Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), and JavaScript for extending APEX functionalities
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience in implementing these within Oracle APEX applications
• In-depth knowledge of security best practices in Oracle APEX, including handling authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Relevant certifications are a strong advantage
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and senior stakeholders
• Experience with application performance tuning and security hardening within Oracle APEX environments

Age

• The candidate should be preferably not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
