MIDDLE MANAGEMENT POSITION - ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIAL GOVERNANCE (ESG)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following position

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ESG data collection and conduct administrative oversight of the ESG Data, train new users, identify and implement enhancements to the platform
• Collaborate closely with data owners in the other departments, facilities, regions and functions to establish robust data collection functionality and data verification/assurance capabilities
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls, governance, and policies and procedures to ensure high integrity and auditable outputs
• Perform analyses and create dashboards and reports for senior management, brands, regions and functions (performance vs. goals, progress tracking, scenario planning, etc.)
• Prepare data, metrics, and qualitative information for use in responding to external ESG Ratings and Rankings organizations
• Contribute to the annual data collection and verification process for ESG report
• Report into the DGM ESG and manage a team of data analysts (direct and indirect reports)
• Conduct and oversee energy audits, analyse consumption patterns and recommend efficiency improvements
• Develop and enforce energy efficiency standards, ensuring alignment with regulations and best practices
• Identify, implement and monitor energy-saving measures and operational enhancements
• Track energy performance, generate reports and provide insights for decision-making
• Promote energy awareness, conduct trainings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Research and integrate advanced energy management solutions to optimize efficiency

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education in the fields of Environment and/or Electrical discipline, preferably, Masters in the aforementioned areas or Management Sciences from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, in any/or combination of the disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-6 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.

Age

• The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
