About the Job
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mid-Level MERN Engineer to join our growing team. As a MERN Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create scalable and efficient solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in web development, with hands-on experience in the MERN stack.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, and its modern frameworks and libraries.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with React.js, Express.js and Node.js.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases such as Mysql, Mongodb, Postgree SQL and their declarative query languages.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
