Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology Entity: Aga Khan University HospitalLocation: Karachi, PakistanIntroduction:

Responsibilities:


You will be responsible to:


  • Assist in acceptance testing and commission of radiotherapy equipment.
  • Perform periodic calibrations of all radiotherapy equipment and quality assurance tests in accordance with policies and Procedure.
  • Perform all tasks related to CT simulation, treatment planning, dose distribution and monitor unit calculations.
  • Participate in research, development and teaching under the supervision and mentorship of the Supervisor / Senior Medical Physicist.
  • Monitor performance of all radiotherapy equipment and provide feedback on equipment replacement.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor / Senior Manager.

Requirements:


You should have:


  • BS / MSc. Degree in Physics / Medical Physics.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Medical Physicist, preferably in a teaching hospital fully equipped with relevant imaging and radiation therapy modalities.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
