Job Responsibilities

Job Overview

As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our web and mobile plaHorms through meGculous manual testing. You will work closely with developers, project coordinator, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, provide feedback, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and specifications.
• Defect Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects on JIRA
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on issues and improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that recent changes have not adversely affected existing functionalities.
• User Experience Testing: Evaluate the usability and user experience of the application, ensuring it meets user expectations and requirements.

• Test Environment Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring test environments to support testing activities.

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of web plaHorms, IOS and Android Apps and database testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting (a plus)

• Work Mode: Onsite
• Location: Lahore
