Main Accountabilities
- Implement country level business strategy in line with DPDHL vision and strategy, standards and guidelines
- Plan, organize and ensure country’s business management and operations in line with set objectives
- Supervises sales, marketing and big operations, and may have responsibility for regional accounting, purchasing, personnel, and / or financial functions
- Manages and takes responsibility for the country-level P&L (EBITA etc.), cost and revenue management; controls / supervises consolidated budget
- Explores and exploits growth opportunities
- Takes difficult decisions and makes sure that they carried out, properly for example concerning product and market strategy, business development, investments, etc
- Extensively analyzes complex multi-dimensional issues and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing methods and techniques.
- Ensures efficiency and productivity
Customers & Stakeholders

- Convinces external parties to accept complete proposal and programs where there is little interest in cooperating or participating
- Builds, develops and maintains effective working relationships with important internal and external stakeholders
- Represents the company externally on the country-level
Finance & Projects
- Approves all major projects including integration projects on the country level
People Management
- Recruits and develops the members of the country leadership team; keeps them motivated and coordinates their efforts
- Approves key personnel decisions for the country
- Generates commitment, motivation and enthusiasm to company and division
- Leads and manages team; determines team structure, roles, performance targets in co-operation with functional leaders
- Evaluates performance and proposes performance-based compensation for direct staff
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred
- At least 10-15 years of experience in a leadership role within the logistics, courier, or transportation industry
- Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a business in a competitive environment
Skills
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
- Expertise in logistics and supply chain management
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
- Leadership skills to manage a diverse team and foster a positive organizational culture
- Excellent communication both in English and Urdu, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management capabilities
