Manager Warehouse

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

• Manage all the warehousing activities carried out at warehouses as per compliance of SOPs, GXP & EHS standards. Facilitate financial, EHS, internal, external & regulatory GMP audits.  

Principal Duties:

• Ensure the implementation & the compliance of all GXP, EHS, industrial hygiene & housekeeping related standards in all functions of materials warehouse & finished goods quarantine.
• Overview daily progress of raw & packing materials from receiving, storage & issuance as per SOPs, GMP & EHS requirements.
• Overview inventory control by close coordination with materials planning.
• Keep strong communication with materials planning & production planning to fulfil the manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure issuance of raw & packing materials as per dispatch list of materials issuances. 
• Ensure receiving, storing & issuance of the controlled drugs as per drug law, Materials control EQD & SOP.
• Handling & record keeping of all excises bonded raw materials as per the requirement of the law of the land. 
• Ensure the storage of all hazardous materials as per their storage & handling requirement.
• Ensure the availability of material safety data sheet (MSDS) of all raw materials at the point of use.
• Submission of the survey request of in transit damage materials to insurance company for insurance claim & get update about the approval status of the insurance claim from finance.
• Review & approve the materials disposition slip (MDS) for the in-house disposition of obsolete / non-conforming / rejected packing materials.
• Review & approve Material write off vouchers (MWV) of the rejected / expired / non-conforming raw materials.
• Arrange the disposition (incineration) of written off raw materials through third party government licensed contractor after the approval of the MWV as per procedure.
• Review & approve the stock cycle count report.
• Keep track of the calibration & maintenance of all equipment as per schedule.
• Identify the areas of improvement in warehouse as per GMP & functional needs & prepare a list of quality improvement projects to present before the senior management for approval.
• Support to prepare capital expenditure projects & Long- range projects as per business need & get the approval of these projects from the senior management.
• Follow up of the capital approved projects of the warehouse for their timely execution.
• Monitor timely execution of the GMP related tasks through work orders & demand maintenance.
• Ensure all the KPIs pertaining to warehouse are published as per target date.
• Review of the environmental data of warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B. Pharmacy / Pharm D.
• Experience 6-7 years
