About the job Manager - Information Technology (IT)
The incumbent is responsible to execute all IT related services and ensure that operations of IT Department are aligned with the set objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of all business applications across the organization, including ERP, website, others.
- Oversee the current ERP revamp project, developing a comprehensive implementation plan, managing IT team and ensuring a successful transition to the new system.
- Analyze business needs and identify opportunities for improvement through strategic application selection and implementation.
- Lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of new business applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Manage the business application lifecycle, including budgeting, vendor relationships, training, and ongoing support.
- Manage a team of business application resources, providing guidance and support for effective application management.
- Ensure data security and integrity across all business applications.
- Supervise and assist the infrastructure team ensuring that all infrastructure related services i.e. LAN / WAN, backups, security, emails, active directory etc. are in place and available as per the defined policies and procedures.
- Develop / recommend strategies, policies, and procedures to maintain and enhance IT systems and processes for supporting financial and business objectives of the company.
- Supervise troubleshooting activities to resolve IT related issues and ascertain that user are provided with constructive technical support whenever needed.
- Ascertain facilitation of employees queries in respect of software and hardware issues with a focus on prompt resolution without causing any operational difficulties.
- Ensure maintenance and enhancement of Corporations website.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field and a valid Pakistan Engineering Council Registration Certificate (where applicable).
Experience:
- At least 7 years with 2 years in supervisory role. Tier 1 ERP operational / implementation exposure will be an added advantage.
Age:
- Maximum 35 years as on the last date of submission of application.
