About the job Manager Business Development Technical

COMPANY OVERVIEW


Our Client, a leading Energy organization, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:


The position of Manager- Business Development- Technical will report to Head of Business Development and will be responsible for providing technical expertise to clients and working closely with sales and engineering teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist Head of Business Development in developing and implementing technical design of renewable solutions based on customer requirement(s)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, fostering partnerships and driving customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with the designated stakeholders for technical negotiations and related matters
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market intelligence, new developments, and competitor activities to identify new business/sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
  • Preparation and onward submission of technical terms and conditions, verification & sign-off
  • Prepare and present technical budget proposals, technical reports, metrics to the supervisor providing insights and recommendations for improvements
  • Responsible for the development of technical specifications of the system components
  • Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy / Wind industry and communicate key trends, risks, and potential impacts to respective stakeholders and cover the risk mitigation action in relevant contract documents

Education


  • Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, General Management or a related field.

Experience


  • Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2-5 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Requirements


  • Hands on experience in preparing technical proposals and design of renewable solutions
  • Candidates with proficiency in any of the software i.e. PVsyst, HelioScope, PVSol, AutoCad, Homer Energy, SketchUp/Skelion, etc will be preferred
  • A resourceful self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of related NEPRA regulations is a must
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code/ NFPA 70 will be preferred
  • Active Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor Certification is a plus

Age


The candidate should be preferably not more than 35 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
