Job Description:

We are looking for an expert-level AI Engineer specialising in Computer Vision and Vision-based AI solutions. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about developing advanced visual intelligence systems, with deep expertise in computer vision techniques such as object detection, image segmentation, video analytics, behavioural analysis, and visual recognition. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to deploy innovative vision-based AI applications across various domains, leveraging state-of-the-art models and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and integrate advanced computer vision models for applications in object detection, segmentation, tracking, behavioural analytics, and image analysis.

• Implement and fine-tune deep learning architectures (YOLO, Detectron2, ResNet, EfficientNet, ViT) for high-performance visual understanding tasks.
• Design robust vision pipelines capable of real-time image/video processing, anomaly detection, and inference.
• Deploy scalable AI solutions using cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored vision solutions aligned with business objectives, including applications in monitoring, surveillance, and activity analysis.
• Conduct research and experiments to enhance the accuracy, scalability, and performance of vision AI models, particularly in real-time scenarios.
• Stay updated on recent advancements in computer vision, visual transformers (ViTs), LVMs (Large Vision Models), and associated AI trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience specifically focused on Computer Vision and deep learning solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python with proven experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, Detectron2, or YOLO.
• Demonstrated expertise in building vision models for object detection, segmentation, image classification, behaviour analysis, and video analytics.
• Hands-on experience deploying vision AI applications on cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure Vision APIs).
• Solid understanding of optimisation techniques for real-time visual AI performance.

• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases relevant to AI applications.

  
  

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

  
  

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Large Vision Models (LVMs) and Visual Transformers (ViTs).

  
  
• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment pipelines, and performance monitoring.

• Experience developing AI-driven mobile or edge applications.

  
  
• Contributions to open-source computer vision projects or a robust portfolio of personal projects.

Work Days:Monday to Friday 

Core Hours: 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour break)

Flexible Hours: 1.5 hours can be worked between 9:00 to 10:30 AM or 6:00 - 7:30 PM

Total Work Hours: 8 hours
