Overview This position is responsible for managing the daily logistics operations related to the dispatch of finished goods from the warehouse to various distribution zones. It involves detailed planning, coordination with third-party transporters, monitoring compliance, and ensuring that safety, quality, and security regulations are met. The role includes managing transport logistics, optimizing delivery efficiency, and ensuring all necessary documentation is processed smoothly. Additionally, the position provides backup support for the invoicing coordinator, ensuring smooth invoicing operations without affecting primary logistics responsibilities. The role also involves proactively identifying and tracking alternative routes in case of any unforeseen route blockages within the country. Responsibilities • Develop and implement daily dispatch plans based on stock availability and sales demand, covering the 4 distribution zones across Pakistan. • Perform daily optimization of plan on global transport management system. • Coordinate with transporters to determine truck sizes, routes, and third-party transport arrangements based on the dispatch plan. • Share the finalized dispatch plan with transporter representatives at the plant and communicate with their focal persons to ensure timely vehicle arrangement. • Track the compliance percentage of planned vs. reported vehicles on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to monitor supplier service levels. • Prepare Internal Goods Passes (IGPs) for all vehicles to be loaded and dispatched, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place. • Facilitate the entry of vehicles into the plant by coordinating with transport representatives and plant teams. • Collaborate closely with safety, quality, and security teams to ensure that all transport activities comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols. • Track the performance of third-party transporters and resolve any service-related issues, ensuring on-time deliveries. • Maintain and update records related to all dispatched materials, truck movements, and transporter coordination. • Provide backup support for the invoicing coordinator, ensuring smooth processing of invoices without impacting primary logistics responsibilities. • Track and identify alternative routes in case of route blockages due to unforeseen circumstances, ensuring minimal disruption to dispatch operations. • Perform any additional tasks or special projects assigned by the Line Manager.
