Job Purpose
The Junior Manager – FP&A Reporting is responsible for the comprehensive reporting and analysis of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, delivering insights that enhance financial visibility for both local and corporate teams. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, HR, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to support data-driven decision-making and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting across multiple business areas.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and analyze full P&L statements, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Build detailed reports to enhance financial visibility across local and corporate teams, focusing on critical metrics and financial performance indicators.
- Trade Marketing Investment (TMI) Management
- Oversee the validation of TMI activities, including distributor bonuses, sell-in/sell-out activities, and monthly promotional validations.
- Ensure TMI allocations align with financial strategies and provide reports on TMI effectiveness.
- Marketing Investment Follow-Up
- Track and monitor marketing investments, evaluating their impact on sales and profitability.
- Work with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to assess return on investment (ROI) and optimize resource allocation.
- Pricing Analysis and Mix Management
- Conduct in-depth pricing analysis to assess the impact on sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyze product mix to identify opportunities for gross margin improvement and recommend pricing adjustments as needed.
- P&L Reporting by Channel, Brand, and Customer
- Generate detailed P&L reports segmented by sales channel, brand, and customer.
- Provide insights into profitability and performance variations, helping inform strategic decisions for each segment.
- Sales and Marketing Contribution Analysis
- Evaluate the financial contribution of sales and marketing activities to overall profitability.
- Prepare reports detailing the impact of these activities on gross margin and P&L, highlighting trends and key performance drivers.
- Field Force Bonuses Follow-Up and Approval
- Track and validate field force bonus payments, ensuring compliance with performance metrics and budget allocations.
- Collaborate with HR and Sales teams to review and approve bonus payouts.
- Stock in Trade and Finished Goods Stock Count
- Oversee stock-in-trade monitoring and ensure the accuracy of stock records.
- Conduct and validate stock counts for finished goods, ensuring alignment with inventory records and financial statements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in FP&A, financial reporting, or similar roles within an FMCG or related industry.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and experience with financial reporting software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a keen attention to detail.
