About the job JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - FINANCIAL ANALYST
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint an experienced and seasoned professional for the following role:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Market Studies (demand, supply, market research and dynamics) and commercial pre-feasibility and due diligence of the concept projects
- Assist in analyzing business plans, develop comprehensive financial models ground-up, and conduct due diligence and market valuation on potential investments and concept projects
- Develop financial/economic feasibility of the projects and develop +/-50% and +/-25% budget of the proposed projects at different stages including without limitation the sensitivities
- Identify potential risks to relevant company stakeholders and propose mitigation strategies
- Assist in preparing detailed reports and executive presentations that cover review findings, enabling senior management to make more informed decisions
- Undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management
- Ability to clearly and articulately present problem statements and analyses
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, preferably in Finance, or a related field
- Any other Finance certifications such as CFA, will be considered as a plus
Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.
Requirements
- Excellent financial due diligence and business valuation skills
- Knowledge of risk management and transaction advisory principles and practices
- Ability to build, audit and execute detailed financial models
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point)
- Understanding and analyzing data sets and econometrics
- Business development acumen
Age
- The candidate should preferably be not more than 33 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
