General Summary:
Looking for a passionate Jave full-stack Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the design, development and maintenance of enterprise scale applications using Java and other open-source frameworks like Spring boot and Micro Services. Having experience in AWS or any other Cloud technology is a plus.
Responsibilities / Skillsets:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
- Ability to work with stakeholders including Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams, understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, and delivery of high- quality product to users.
- Exhibit a wide variety of professional characteristics such as debugging, problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Provide project support on back-end/front-end applications, integration, and required test harnesses to meet business requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing high performant data processing solutions.
- Independently write reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
- Execute technical tasks related to system integrations and APIs under direct supervision.
- Contribute to designing, building, and deploying software pipelines with supervision.
- Efficiently complete tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines in the software development process.
- Actively engage with team members, seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in IT Software Development.
- Participate in technical discussions within the project team.
- Have ability to work on independently with minimal guidance.
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
- Thoroughly review technical documentation for straightforward projects under the guidance of a supervisor.
Technical Skillsets:
- 7-9 years of experience with Java and other object-oriented languages.
- Experience with Spring Framework and Micro services is a must.
- Experience with AWS or any other Cloud solution is highly preferred.
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
- Excellent communication/inter-personal skills a must
- Skilled in data processing using XML, JSON data formats and strong knowledge SOAP, REST, Service Oriented Architecture is preferred.
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge is required.
- Proficient in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes orchestration platforms.
- Experience with one or more application servers (WebLogic or Tomcat)
- Experience with build tools such as MAVEN, Gradle and development environments and IDE's (Eclipse/IntelliJ)
- Expertise with one of the GIT / Source Code Versioning tools.
- Experience with unit testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit/Mockito.
- A quick learner with the ability to handle development tasks with minimum or no supervision.
- Should have the ability to work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
Candidate should have:
- 7-9 years of experience in development web applications using Java technologies.
- Hands-on experience on Java, Spring framework, Micro Services.
- Strong SQL skills and working knowledge.
- Experience ReactJS/AngularJS, HTML, CSS3, Typescript is a plus.
- Clear understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, Microservice Architecture.
- Experience in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes).
- Experience with build tools such as MAVEN or Gradle.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
