We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Undertaking Proceduralised reporting tasks using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Reviewing and understanding information produced by other IT Service Management teams for incidents/outages (including Incident and Problem Management documentation) and using this to create ‘business friendly’ business impact of the disruption to technology services.
- Undertaking oversight of technology service disruption (outage), including ensuring that data relating to outages is captured accurately and in a timely manner in ServiceNow.
- End to End governance of Business Application Maintenance as per the IT Service Acceptance (ITSA) processes.
- Ensuring that periodic reviews of commitments as per timescales set out in the SLM Mandatory Procedure, and when ad-hoc amendments are required.
- Maintaining an accurate Inventory of the technology services that underpin Important Business Services and Business Prioritised Services.
- Providing consulting services to communicate and educate on best practices of Service Level Management and Outage Management.
- Enforcement of applicable Global Standards, Mandatory Procedures, and policies.
- Handling ad-hoc queries.
