As a IT Specialist at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing. We are looking for a IT Specialist in Hyderabad, India.


What You’ll Do:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Helpdesk Support
  • Handle and resolve tickets promptly, ensuring timely and effective solutions for user issues.
  • Provide onsite helpdesk support and exceptional customer service, including VIP support for key users.
  • Manage user accounts, including password resets and access rights in Okta and Google Workspace.
  • Set up IT hardware and software, including configuring devices and installing applications.
  • AV and Conferencing Support
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain AV equipment for meetings and conferences.
  • Provide technical support for video conferencing tools, including Zoom and Google Meet.
  • IT Logistics, Inventory, and Stock Management
  • Manage IT logistics, including procurement, shipping, and delivery of hardware.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including tracking warranties and updating asset information.
  • Coordinate asset tagging, movement, and disposal as per company policies.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance
  • Monitor and troubleshoot servers, network components, and virtualization infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and manage security measures using tools like Jamf and Intune.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Update and maintain IT knowledge bases and documentation.
  • Generate and share periodic reports on IT inventory, asset performance, and task execution.
What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:


Technical Expertise:


  • Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS and Windows OS environments.
  • Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, Jamf, Intune, Zoom, and Google Meet.
  • Strong hardware support knowledge, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
    IT Support Experience:
  • 3-4 years of experience in IT support, including remote and onsite assistance.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.


Inventory and Logistics Management:


  • Hands-on experience managing IT inventory, stock tracking, and warranty updates.
  • Knowledge of IT asset management and logistics coordination.
    Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
