General Summary:
Designs and develops software across the stack for web applications and engineering tools that includes programming at the data layer, integration layer, API layer, and the UI layer. Develops systems, integrations, APIs, and solutions that are focused on, but not limited to, engineering. Manages/tracks the software development process from development to production release, in collaboration with other IT teams.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT-relevant work experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides support for projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, associated integration, and required test harnesses based on design.
• Writes reliable, testable, and maintainable code under some supervision.
• Completes assigned technical tasks for system integrations and APIs under some supervision.
• Completes assigned technical tasks for the design, build, and deployment of pipelines that handle the software lifecycle under some supervision.
• Executes tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines for software development process.
• Regularly discusses issues within project team to maintain open communication.
• Networks with more senior IT Software Developers and seeks out learning opportunities to increase own knowledge, skill, and overall expertise in the IT Software Development field.
• Contributes to technical conversations with technical leads/managers.
• Writes technical documentation for straightforward projects under the direction of a supervisor.
Level of Responsibility:
• Works under some supervision.
• Responsible for own work. Decision-making is limited. Impact of decisions is readily apparent. Errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.
• Some tasks require multiple steps which must be performed in a specific order; directions or manuals can accurately document the steps necessary to perform the task.
• Some creativity may be required to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.
• Limited problem solving required, generally in the nature of troubleshooting simple processes or technology.
