We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager.
In this role, you will:
- Influence the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments, and changes.
- Support project and technology teams to manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget.
- Provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the programme management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees. Make recommendations to influence decision-making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation.
- Plan and track operating and capital spend within budgetary constraints and reports risks and discrepancies. Track and report on financial business case commitments and ensure adherence to financial processes. Leads by example and encourage excellent financial management in others.
- Help in the project management reporting structure and development & running of the programme management office or project management practice.
- Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance of the framework, capability management, security controls and technology architecture designs.
- Provide timely updates for the Global/Regional/Business/Functions and inputs to Executive Leadership Teams to review the performance against the project/Programme objectives and identify future roadmap.
