What is Intermediate Engineer?

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, truthful, innovative, collaborative and customer focused, and must demonstrate from previous experiences these abilities. You need to have relevant experience in the Data Analytics domain and have experience with Agile methodologies.

You will be joining a team of diverse DWH Function with state of art technology stack with various project teams and will be reporting directly to Practice Lead.

What Intermediate Engineer does?

·       Identify and address gaps in data analytics by proposing and implementing improvement strategies.

·       Develop, manage, and optimize ETL workflows and data analytics solutions to meet business requirements.

·       Ensure 24/7 monitoring and support for ETL operations, proactively identifying and resolving failures to maintain data integrity and system uptime.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in ETL pipelines, databases, and data processing workflows.

·       Collaborate across teams, including Operations, Development, Reporting, and Program Management, to support end-to-end data processes.

·       Enhance operational efficiency through automation, performance tuning, and optimization of ETL and data pipelines.

·       Maintain system health by implementing robust error handling, alerting mechanisms, and recovery processes.

·       Contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and process improvement initiatives within the team.

• Required to work in a rotational shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of a 24/7 operations team, maintaining a 40-hour workweek.

·       Ensure Data Quality Matrix and develop controls across all Platforms

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, ETL operations, or data engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in ETL/BI tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lake architectures.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, with expertise in incident management, on-call support, and shift-based work.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL Queries for performance optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Experience with DevOps and Automation tools to streamline ETL deployments and monitoring.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with Shell Scripting for automation and process optimization.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
