We’re looking for an entry-level data enthusiast to join our NIQ In-Store Vision / Trade Dimensions (NIV / TD) team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with data to help our clients understand valuable insights and improve their business strategies. You’ll work with different tools to analyse and visualize data, collaborate with teams, and learn the essentials of delivering valuable insights to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Insights Support:
• Assist with preparing data for client insights using our internal platforms platform.
• Support in organizing and analysing data to help clients understand key business insights.
• Learn to use tools for data visualization to highlight trends and insights.
2. Client Engagement Basics:
• Be open to learning about client needs and how the NIV / TD solution can support them.
• Help build relationships by supporting teams with clear, client-focused communication.
• Attend client presentations and observe how recommendations are made.
3. Team Collaboration:
• Work with various teams to support client delivery.
• Bring ideas and feedback to help improve the NIV / TD platform and client solutions.
• Learn about current trends in the retail industry and how NIV / TD tools can benefit clients.
4. Project Coordination:
• Help track project timelines and ensure deliverables are on schedule.
• Support team members in identifying potential risks and solutions for ongoing projects.
• Assist in creating reports and summaries for internal updates.
• Education: Background in a numerical field
• Technical Skills:
o Familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) is a plus.
o Interest in learning query languages (like SQL) or programming languages (like Python).
• Industry Knowledge: An interest in the retail or consumer goods industry is helpful, but not required.
• Soft Skills:
o Eagerness to learn and adapt.
o Good communication skills for working with different teams and supporting client needs.
o A proactive attitude with an ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
