Hyperion Technical / Functional Consultant

Gather Application Services Requirements by studying information needs; conferring with key-

users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas.

· Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and map the Business process / Business requirement of client into

Hyperion Applications

· Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, to include

Requirements Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, and Implementation

· Assist Business Users in mapping and streamlining business practices to implement various

HYPERION modules, using standardized implementation methodology including reports

specification development (such as HFM, FDMEE, HFR) and deployment

· Assist, coach, and mentor other engagement team members on issues they may encounter in the

design and implementation of solutions.

· Responsible for developing and adhering to engagement team project standards to ensure the

delivery of quality deliverables.

· Actively participate in the troubleshooting, system maintenance and support activities.

· Develop and document business process manuals to streamline/ standardize business processes

within the HYPERION Modules.

· Work on tasks related to solution enhancements and implementation projects, solution rollouts,

testing and end-user training

· Examine potential areas for Service Improvement and raise proposals with the HYPERION

Applications Services Manager/ Team Leader

· Interact with internal teams and MDCBMS Clients to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems

· Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing

· Provide input to administering and maintaining all production and internal environments

· Follow appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (i.e. change control,

security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management). · Maintain good working relationships with Application Key-Users and End-users. · Provide timely and expert advice on emerging trends and issues affecting Service Delivery and Support. · Contribute to the release process for applications services and end user support · Work closely with other Application Services Team and development teams when necessary to create solutions that are cohesive and functional. · Show flexibility to respond to the changing needs of BMS and clients
