We are seeking an experienced HSE (EHS) Coordinator to join Prismecs. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing safety leadership, ensuring environmental compliance, and contributing to the achievement of company KPIs and initiatives. Reporting to the Plant Manager and VP of Operations, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including Plant Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Human Resources.

Location: This job is located on-site at a customer location.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and improve safe work practices.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

• Develop, implement, and maintain employee training programs aligned with regulatory guidelines.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and improvements.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections, preparing reports with findings and recommendations for corrective and preventative measures.
• Implement and perform periodic training and audits for the plant Lock-Out and Tag-Out (LOTO) Program.
• Ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements as mandated by local health safety regulations.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
• Prepare Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.
• Interface effectively with peers from various departments to achieve Prismecs’ goals and objectives.
• Motivate and familiarize all company personnel with the importance of complying with company system procedures and safety equipment.
• Conduct accident/incident investigations and analyze findings to determine root causes.
• Analyze accident/incident statistics, identify trends, and suggest improvement plans.
• Perform Risk Assessments and recommend control measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in safety, environmental health, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of related HSE experience in a field environment.
• Direct experience as an HSE Coordinator in multisite operations.
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven record of success.
• Proficiency in HSE reporting systems such as IS Network and PEC.

• Self-motivated with a bias toward action.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong mentorship and relationship-building skills.
