About the job HR Executive
Position: HR Executive
Industry: Port/Terminal
Location: East Wharf, Karachi
Experience: Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
Education: MBA/MPA or BBA in HR or any equivalient degree in management sciences
Principal Accountabilities:
Recruitment and Selection
- Source, screen and shortlist potential candidates. Update CV data base manually on regular basis.
- Organize interviewing and selection events. Conduct Aptitude Test and mark evaluation report.
- Coordinate with Universities for placement and possible industrial collaborations with the Company. Prepare job offer and salary comparison maintaining internal equity.
- Process Head Count Approval for Management Approval according to job. Process Medical Check-ups of new employees.
- Plan and process new employee orientation to foster positive attitude.
- Maintain employee files ensuring concerned documents are readily available as and when required.
- Renewal of Agreements of Contractual Employees on KGTL payroll.
- Initiate and complete the process of employees confirmations as per company policy.
Reports and Presentations
- Prepare Monthly HC Report including monthly Interview Process Hours Report.
- Share New Joinings, Separation cases and other monthly data with payroll department.
- Prepare monthly manpower detail and update on changes.
Internship Programs
- Conduct tests and onboard interns.
- Coordination with universities for sourcing potential students to get onboard as interns.
- Ensure smooth processing of internships from initiation till closing and issuance of certificates. Gather Internship Report & process stipend accordingly.
Miscellaneous Assignments
- Prepare Holiday Notices and internal circulars.
- Organizational Restructuring such as Promotion, Departmental Transfers, Retirement etc.
- Process different annual medical tests, such as PNRA, Audiometric, etc. to mitigate risk of occupational illness.
Employee Separation
- Coordinate with HODs for resignations received, and process resignation for CEO approval.
- Conduct Exit Interviews of outgoing employees (Resignation Cases).
- Ensure smooth process of employees requirements as per company policy.
