HEAD OF PRODUCT

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our Client, a Karachi based newly established FinTech company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

As a Head of Product, you will be responsible for the Product function and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation, conceptualization, development to pilot and commercial launch and ensure timely delivery of all milestones
• Develop customer centric products with strong emphasis on customer experience and ensure a seamless omni channel user experience
• Leverage customer insights, data analytics, and market research to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product offerings
• Develop product strategy including developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the digital payments market, industry trends and competitor landscape
• Research and explore latest technologies related to digital payments and study Industry behavior for conceptualizing various products and offerings for different market segments
• Foster strategic partnerships with Banks, Financial institutions and other Payment gateway and processor networks and ensure seamless integration with all third-party services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technology, Marketing & Operations to align product goals with business objectives

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in MIS, Computer Sciences, IT, Database Management, Business Administration and / or any relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience preferably at a fintech start up or a large financial institution with at least 5-7 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position
• Proven experience in a Product role, preferably within the fintech sector

Requirements:

• Experience building both new products as well as track record of adding continuous product improvements to an existing product portfolio, ideally for consumer-facing digital products
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, evolving and fast paced start up environment
• Exceptional leadership & team management skills with a track record of building & leading high-performing teams
• Ideal candidate to have experience building disruptive consumer digital wallet, mobile application and/or card-based products
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving skills
• A resourceful self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills

Age

The candidate should be preferably not more than 45 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
