ACCA/CA/MBA/MA/MSc from an accredited institution.
Preferably holds AML-related professional qualifications/certifications (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS), etc.).
Experience:
A minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience at a managerial level in Compliance, Operations, or other control functions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with SBP AML/CFT/CPF regulations and guidelines, as well as AML/CFT-related laws.
Assess internal policies and procedures from a Financial Crime Compliance perspective to determine their appropriateness and update them as necessary to reflect changes in applicable laws and regulations.
Proactively identify and address situations that may pose Financial Crime Compliance risks or other emerging risks.
Evaluate new products and services to identify potential AML risks.
Develop a comprehensive Internal Risk Assessment Report to evaluate the adequacy of AML/CFT/CPF controls and mitigate associated risks.
Supervise controls and system improvements to ensure that Financial Crime Compliance and emerging risks are adequately managed in day-to-day operations.
Escalate AML/CFT/CPF issues to senior management for immediate resolution and necessary corrective actions.
Develop and update the Bank’s AML/KYC training programs and oversee capacity-building initiatives.
