About the role:

The GBS Transactional Finance Capability Center Head will hold a key leadership position within the WBD mutli-functional Shared Services Organization. This position oversees a team who supports the critical day-to-day operations of the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay functions located in that center. This role will exercise leadership accountability for processes and performance that have been relocated to that center, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and internal controls. This individual will hire and train staff, ensure quality control through maintaining compliance to service level agreements and meet targets set by WBD executive leadership.  It will be important for this individual to comply with and report out the results of issue resolution turnaround time while handling inbound and outbound customer care, providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions. The Management of Business Process Outsource (BPO) providers (where applicable) will be extremely important to the success of this individual. An important aspect of this role will be to communicate the vision and goals of the shared service function within the organization in a highly collaborative and positive manner and drive execution. This role will require an ability to effectively partner across the organization and interact regularly with WBD senior management and professional service providers, including the external audit team.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the global delivery of the Finance GBS Order to Cash and Procure to Pay shared services processes and the management of regional functional leaders for each organization
• Responsible for effectively partnering with the Global Process Owners and implementing best in class process workflows in coordination with the global footprint.
• Ensure a results driven organization with a focus of continuous improvement
• Provide vision, strategic leadership, planning, and guidance for the development, implementation, and management of an effective organization
• Lead the teams to create, build, and implement effective, efficient, and consistent operational processes, leveraging technology improvements and ensuring optimal utilization of all resources
• Guide integration and transition of work into the company organizational structure as well as serve as a key contributor to the implementation of the new accounting platform SAP S/4 HANA. Serve as subject matter expert for existing systems and processes throughout integration and implementation efforts
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal and external business customers to ensure effective delivery of services
• Effectively lead a team of professionals by developing talent and cultivating a high-performance culture, building a strong global team 
• Strong coordination with the Strategy & Transformation and Governance & Customer Experience teams
• Act as a key stakeholder in aligning processes and technologies across locations with a goal of driving process efficiencies
• Develop KPIs and benchmarks for internal customers and external customers and vendors
• Define and communicate to business leadership internally set service quality standards and metrics that are consistent with external benchmarks of high performing organizations; ensure that all
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory laws
• Ensure compliance with SOX and other established controls 
• Work with external auditors to provide requested documentation
