About the job HEAD - ASSET MANAGEMENT

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our Client, a Karachi based Energy Renewable company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:


The position of Head of Asset Management will report to Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and maintenance of renewable energy assets. This role ensures optimal asset functionality, supports business objectives, and aligns with regulatory and company standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the development and implementation of operations and maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Cross functional industry experience to identify energy gaps and recommend creative out of the box renewable energy integrated solutions to business development
  • Oversee data collection, monitoring, and analysis to optimize asset efficiency through data-driven insights and recommended improvements
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for renewable energy systems while resolving related issues with finance and customer service teams
  • Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and solutions to minimize downtime and improve reliability of assets
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, liaising with authorities to address compliance matters
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset operations by implementing effective monitoring systems and risk management strategies
  • Build and lead a high-performing asset management team, providing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Education


  • Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in , Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.

Experience


  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 5-7 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Requirements


  • Experience in renewable industry
  • Proven track record in renewable energy industry in operations & maintenance, plant performance KPI management & digitization, execution & project management, and supporting business development activities
  • Excellent understanding of evolving technology & performance optimization knowledge & techniques in Solar, Wind, BESS to offer proactive solutions
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for performance monitoring
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills
  • Ability to travel as per requirement

Age


  • The candidate should be preferably not more than 45 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
