What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Our Global Graduate Program (GGP) is an entry-level opportunity designed for college graduates with 1-2 years of work experience who want to fast-track their career, globally. It’s an 18-month program leading to a management job for high potential fresh graduates and upbeat individuals. The program aims to raise future leaders of the BAT Finance Team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

The GGP offers:

• Fast-track career progression in a high risk, high reward 18-month rotational program with multiple checkpoints.
• Intensive, hands-on training and support.
• A real job with real impact from day one. Ultimately, it will set you up for a successful career ahead - the chance to progress from graduate to junior manager in 18 months.
• Engage in an experiential journey to fully understand our business.
• Global Graduates participate in an intensive learning and networking experience in the Global Graduate Academy, during which you'll develop an understanding of our global business strategy.
• Global Graduates are assigned a mentor to support learning and development through continuous feedback, coaching, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing various analytical and management reporting for business in a timely and accurate manner
• Providing visibility, insight, and explaining the story behind the numbers
• Preparation of regular forecast & annual budget, planning and analysis
• Support ad-hoc financial reports and projects as assigned, including new business opportunities or initiatives.
• The role will require an individual who constantly strives to give as a partner to the business, looks for continuous improvement, has a consumer-focused mentality and is an excellent teammate.
• Delivering monthly financial forecasting including variance analysis which identifies key drivers of financial performance and areas of opportunities.
• Build a network with Global Graduate's from different parts of the world by taking part in BAT Grad Academy.
• Build an impact on our international business by participating in global cross-market projects, under the supervision of a dedicated Coach & Mentor.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field.
• 1- 2 years of experience in Finance or a related field.
• Open to relocate globally.
• High academic performance.
• Prior internship, practicum experience; student organization or other leadership experience.
• Leadership skills.
• Strong eye for business and a strategic approach.
• Intellectual curiosity and ambition.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• Bold and innovative thinkers who thrive in collaborative environments.
• Committed to making an impact and driving results.
• Eager to take on complex challenges and demonstrate tenacity and perseverance.
• Ability to learn on the fly and apply learnings to make value-maximizing decisions.
