About the job General Manager (Reservoir Management)
COMPANY OVERVIEW
A reputed Exploration & Production Company invites applications for the position of General Manager (Reservoir Management).
QUALIFICATION
Master's / Bachelor's degree (04 years) in Geology/Geophysics OR Petroleum & Gas Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
16 years professional relevant post-qualification experience including 06 years in senior leadership positions, preferably in E & P Sector. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the multi-disciplinary team of Geoscientists and Petroleum Engineers in Reservoir Management Department. The candidate must have a proven track record of the following key responsibilities for future role:
- Leading multi-disciplinary team for the commercialization of asset and formulation of oil and gas field development plan.
- Conducting reservoir simulation studies by using industry established softwares for prediction of reservoir performance with optimum production plan.
- Using Petrel or Decision Space Geoscience for Geophysical & Geological evaluation.
- Design and supervise well placement strategies, drilling programs and understanding of primary, secondary and enhanced oil recovery methods.
- Evaluate well performance and implement production optimization strategies to enhance productivity and field longevity.
- Develop long-term reservoir strategies aligned with corporate goals, ensuring sustainability and growth.
- Ensure reserves estimations using industry methodologies, provide reports for stakeholders and ensure compliance with international standards.
- Supervise and arrange third-party reservoir studies, corporate reserves certification and mitigate risks associated with production forecasts.
- Utilize advanced reservoir engineering software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse, CMG) for simulation studies and analysis while staying abreast of industry trends.
- Coordinate with exploration, drilling and production teams, as well as regulatory authorities and external consultants.
MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT: 55 YEARS
The selected candidate will be offered a 03 years contract employment extendable by mutual consent, with market-based salary and other benefits commensurate with experience and Company policy.
