Job Description

Experience Previous experience in a general labor or facilities support role, preferably in a camp or remote location.
Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of safety procedures in an industrial environment.
Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to assist other departments in urgent or heavy-duty tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily maintenance tasks on the camp site, including cleaning, waste disposal, and minor repairs.
Support the facilities team in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in living quarters, common areas, and dining facilities.
Help in moving and arranging equipment, supplies, and furniture as needed.
Follow safety protocols and ensure the proper use of protective equipment at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries of goods and materials.
Provide support during facility inspections and assist in reporting maintenance needs.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the camp.
Respond to ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Facilities Supervisor or management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist other departments when required, including responding to urgent facility-related issues such as sewage pipeline repairs or drainage problems.
