We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Strong technical skills and hands on experience in development and enhancement of DataStage jobs, Google Cloud Platform, Shell scripting, database technologies along with understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Providing technical expertise in finding root cause of major system problems, automation and infrastructure issues, data management and exception handling.
- IT service ownership – good understanding in managing, uplifting, and making sure IT service compliant.
- Convert requirements into sustainable technical solution through coding best practices.
- Write, analyse, review, and rewrite programs to departmental and Group standards.
- Update programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Review code from team members Analyst/Developers as part of the quality assurance process.
- Produce unit test plans with detailed expected results to fully exercise the code
- Good understanding on DevSecOps practices and hands on knowledge in Sprint planning, backlog prioritization, bandwidth allocation to execute project delivery.
