Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the fuel depot, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fuel.
Monitor fuel levels and ensure adequate stock to meet operational requirements.
Ensure that all fuel handling procedures comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Perform regular checks on fuel storage tanks, pumps, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Coordinate fuel deliveries, managing schedules to ensure timely receipt and distribution.
Maintain accurate records of fuel inventory, receipts, and dispatches.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent spills, leaks, and other hazards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure fuel needs are met efficiently.
Conduct periodic audits of fuel stock and report discrepancies or issues to management.
Provide training to depot staff on safe fuel handling procedures and emergency response protocols.
