This position will be responsible for safe operation and maintenance of DuPont’s real estate as well as transportation. Ensures occupant satisfaction of facilities & services /Security / transport services, while balancing budget and costs.


RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION ​

  • Manage lease, reviews and engages with attorneys in order to ensure favorable terms are achieved under local and national laws.
  • Responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the organization.
  • Ensure that DuPont has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
  • Involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to Facilities, Security and Transportation.
  • Responsible for strategic infrastructure/transportation planning and execution in concert with Local business requirements.
  • Reviews business unit space requests and ensures alignment with leadership objectives and corporate strategy.
  • Conduct real estate growth planning, market reviews, site acquisitions and divestitures as required.
  • Manage occupancy costs through optimized real estate footprint with highly competitive rates/terms.
  • Ensures occupant satisfaction of facilities & services / Transport services , while balancing budget and costs.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships in order to ensure compliance to SLA (service level agreement) and optimum cost structure is achieved.
  • Manage implementation of location modifications and capital projects. Ensures on-time and with-in budget completion of capital projects. To undertake any ad hoc administrative request Work in conjunction with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety ) & Security to create and introduce programs for continuous improvement on both EHS & Security performance.
  • To be the point of contact for external vendors and local regulators for infrastructure compliance To own, manage and administer FS&RE expense budget and capital plan and ensure optimum cost effectiveness in all FS&RE expenditures.
  • Provide detailed scope requirements for renovation/space planning initiatives with practical implementation and associated project management disciplines.
  • Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders, driving service improvement activities. Develop, implement and monitor Policies, guidelines and programs to efficiently manage Real estate, workplace, facilities and Transport operations.
  • Responsible for managing compliance with transportation program requirements, including maintaining required documentation of Driver’s training, background checks, and permits/licenses.
  • To have strong local contacts to manage the security and transportation effectively


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must have experience in creation, monitoring and reviewing business plans.
  • Must be able to prepare succinct, focused and analytical written communication
  • Must have a broad understand of the business to be able to provide adequate support
  • Experience in Operations Management is desirable
  • Must be able to analyses data, identify issues and root causes
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills and able to prioritize tasks in the light of value to the business.
  • Must be able to manage initiatives and projects.
  • Must have proven experience in working in a matrix or multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Must be able to work with limited direction and high levels of autonomy.
  • Must be able to influence others and achieve results without direct control
  • Must have a strong customer service ethic and demonstrates the ability to support colleagues.
  • Project Management experience / skill will be an additional advantage.
  • Management degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ work experience in similar role with 3-5 years people leader position.
  • Prior commensurate experience in leading Facilities Services & Real Estate, Security and Transportation in a large MNC is essential.
