What is Expert Devop Solutions?
Expert Devop Solutionsis responsible for designing and implementing scalable, containerized solutions using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and VMware Tanzu. The position aims to enable efficient application deployment, scalability, and reliability for enterprise clients, aligning with organizational objectives to drive innovation and revenue growth.
The role reports directly to the Stream Head Cloud and Cybersecurity and has no people reporting directly
What does Expert Devop Solutions do?
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives regarding containerized solutions and DevOps practices.
- Design customized DevOps solutions and create detailed proposals that outline the architecture, implementation plan, and value propositions
- Create and maintain product collateral that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and use cases of DevOps solutions.
- Design and implement customer-specific CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Work with platform team to automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
- Design and ensure implementation of SQS with microservices, handling message queues for event-driven customer applications
- Work on monetization of DevOps solutions as a service
Key Deliverables:
- Standardize CI/CD blueprints: Create ready-to-use CI/CD templates for customer deployments.
- Expand DevOps automation: Identify new automation opportunities for customers (e.g., Auto-scaling, GitOps, Serverless DevOps).
- Develop architecture documents and solution blueprints for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or OpenShift) solutions for containerized workloads

Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be *role title*?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles, with a focus on designing and implementing containerized solutions
- Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with orchestration and management platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift and VMware Tanzu.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and version control systems like Git.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
