Expert CS Core Operations:
The CS Core Operations Expert will oversee CS Core Backoffice/Level 2 Operations, requiring hands-on expertise in STPs, SS7 firewalls, MSCs, MGWs, SBCs, and IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi platforms, preferably with Huawei equipment. This role reports to the Manager of CS Core Planning and Operations and is part of a 12-member team.
What does Expert CS Core Operations do?
The CS Core Expert is a highly skilled professional specializing in Circuit-Switched Core Network products, including MSCs, MGWs, STPs, IMS, and SBCs. This role encompasses Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Configuration Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, Network Audits, Health Checks, Vendor Management, and Project Execution, all requiring deep product knowledge. The expert will continuously review and enhance Jazz’s Technology and Development framework, designing innovative solutions aligned with global best practices. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the CS Core Network, ensuring the efficient administration and maintenance of Huawei hardware and software platforms. Strong vendor coordination is essential to ensure rapid root cause analysis (RCA) and issue resolution. The role also involves maintaining high network availability for both end users and business operations, while working closely with technology vendors to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Additionally, the CS Core Expert will strictly adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and be responsible for report writing and preparing Method of Procedure (MOP) documents to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

The CS Core Expert must possess excellent communication skills to effectively promote the department and its technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic approach to competing viewpoints. Strong innovative thinking and a solution-oriented mindset are essential for developing solutions that align with the organization’s philosophy, core competencies, and leadership expectations.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, Software, or Computer Engineering.
