Cloud Solutions Architect - Private / Hybrid Cloud

Role:
Cloud Solutions architect will build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across Compute, networking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, Databases and mid-tier technologies (applications, Integration/Middleware, Security etc.).
Responsibilities:
● Responsible for gathering customer business and technical requirements, proposing solutions including Cloud architecture and Network & Security design.
● Educate customers on best practices to ensure their solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
● Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
● Educate customers on the value proposition of Cloud Platform, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
● Standardize Solutions to build products and develop GTM strategy for the Private Cloud/Hybrid Cloud Practice area.
● Run technical workshops and advise customers on architectural and strategic IT decisions.
● Propose Security framework architecture for Cloud customers involving Data protection, authorization, Security controls, Firewalling, Anti-DDOS and Web security.
● Lead the Solution Design activities involving Sizing, Technical proposals, Technical presentations, Competitive analysis, Proof of concepts and Costing.
● Involve in High level architecture design and implementation discussions with the Service delivery team to ensure successful delivery.
● In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Cloud platform.
Requirements
● BS/BE or MS degree in IT systems/Networks/Telecommunications.
● 5 or more years of Solution Design/Cloud or IT operations of large-scale infrastructure Architecture experience.
● 5+ years of experience architecting enterprise-scale Cloud/ Networks and security solutions.
● Foundational knowledge of Private/Hybrid Cloud platforms such as Huawei HCS, VMware VCF, Oracle PCA, Openstack etc.
● Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers as well as internal and external organizations.
● Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
● Some Cross-functional experience in Sales, Product management, Vendor management and Implementation will be preferred.
● Experience in selling/presales of Cloud and Security technologies in local market will be preferred.
● In-depth knowledge of Virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM and containers.
● Experience with network virtualization and/or software defined networks with good understanding of SDN technologies/terminologies including NSX, VXLAN, Edge gateways etc.
● In-depth knowledge of Public/Private Cloud Compute and Storage offerings including AWS EC2, S3, EFS, ECS and Lambda or equivalent offerings from Microsoft/Google/Other Cloud providers.
● In-depth networking and Security knowledge including VPC architecture and configuration, VPNs, WAF, Elastic Load Balancing, IAM and Direct Connect etc.
● Knowledge of Cloud automation technologies and scripting/coding (E.g. Terraform, Python, JSON/YAML etc.) will be a plus.
● Knowledge of Security compliance requirements (e.g. ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI and GDPR etc.)
● Deep knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 networking technologies including Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalls.
● Certifications/Trainings in the domain of Cloud, Virtualization, Networking and Security like AWS Cloud Practitioner / Solution Architect, Networking Design (CCNP, CCDA/CCNA/HCIA/ HCIP etc.), Security (Vendor certifications from Fortinet, Palo Alto networks etc.) will be preferred.
