The marketing team encompasses a range of functions, including marketing communications, product strategy, design, business planning, and channel enablement. As Expert A2P & Digital Communications, you will manage and evolve platforms powered by integrated delivery channels, driven by first-party data to optimize customer engagement and business outcomes.


This role reports directly to the Stream Head A2P & Digital Platforms.


What does the Expert A2P & Digital Communications do?


We are looking for a leader with techno-commercial expertise in digital marketing platforms, integrated delivery channels, first-party data, and their underlying technologies. You will be responsible for managing the business portfolio, focusing on product innovation, strategy, and P&L management. Familiarity with local and international market trends is critical, alongside a proven ability to work independently in managing business portfolios with financial accountability. The role demands strong analytical skills, structured documentation, and excellent presentation abilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and Execute Platform Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for marketing platforms with integrated delivery channels powered by first-party data.
  • Manage Business Planning and P&L: Oversee financials, ensuring the platform contributes to business growth through effective planning, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Market Intelligence and Product Life Cycle: Analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to guide strategic actions and manage the product life cycle.
  • Collaboration with Ecosystem Partners: Work closely with internal and external partners to develop platform roadmaps, achieve revenue KPIs, and foster innovative solutions.
  • Platform Evaluation and Innovation: Evaluate and recommend new platform solutions, ensuring alignment with Jazz's innovation goals and customer needs.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with platform suppliers, ensuring competitive advantage through effective commercial management.
  • Platform Optimization: Review and recommend pricing and product design changes, optimizing performance and customer experience.
  • Leadership in Product Lifecycle: Own the product lifecycle from discovery to launch, continuously driving innovation and platform enhancements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure platform development is aligned with long-term infrastructure investments and near-term KPIs.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on platform performance, P&L, and KPIs to the CXO level.

Key Deliverables:


  • A2P & Digital Communications strategy: Lead and understand the monetization strategy for A2P and CPaaS platforms, driving innovation and growth.
  • Platform Value Addition: Provide expertise in designing pricing structures, managing special projects, and deploying platforms through relevant stakeholders.
  • Focal Point for the Business Portfolio: Become the go-to person for all matters related to the assigned portfolio, offering insights and solutions to internal teams, including regulatory and technical aspects.
  • Market Awareness and Strategy: Stay fully informed of market trends, competition, and internal challenges, making independent decisions aligned with the broader business strategy.

Requirements:


  • Expertise in Product Development and Innovation, especially for platforms utilizing first-party data and integrated delivery channels.
  • Strong understanding of the local A2P ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of delivery channels, USSD, IVR, Robo Calls, and interconnect ecosystem.
  • Strong business analysis, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in Stakeholder Management and Project Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of product and pricing strategies for digital platforms.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering digital products with a focus on P&L management.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing platforms, CPaaS, and first-party data utilization.
  • Strong negotiation, partner management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A growth mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and innovate continuously.
