Job Summary:To lead and execute product development initiatives by creating innovative, functional, and cost-effective furniture designs that align with market trends, customer needs, and manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute new product designs and prototypes based on market research and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sales, to ensure alignment of product concepts with business goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the practicality of new designs and materials for manufacturing.
- Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, product specifications, and BOMs for new designs.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure quality and functionality.
- Work with suppliers to identify and source suitable materials for product development.
- Ensure all designs comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Provide support for production ramp-up, troubleshooting any issues during the transition from prototype to manufacturing.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all product development processes, iterations, and outcomes.
